Arguably, the most prominent parts of the collection are the exhibition of Dong Son bronze drums from 2,500 years ago and collection of bronze mirrors from the Han Dynasty from the first through third centuries.
The museum owner, Thong, said, “I decided to build this museum because of my great love of antiques and my aversion to see them as material assets. I used my own money to collect these items from across the country to preserve our culture."

He noted that he is facing difficulties in curating and preserving the antiques due to the limited space.
“I’m speeding up the construction of a new museum with more space,” he added.
