HA NOI (VNS) — A Japanese cultural festival will be organised at Ha Noi's Giang Vo Exhibition Center to welcome the New Year at the end of December.
AKEOME! 2015 takes its name from ‘akemashite omedetou meaning ‘Happy New Year' in Japanese.
It will feature traditional Japanese decorations and carp lanterns.
Visitors can participate in activities to welcome the New Year like omikuji fortune-telling and buy souvenirs from Japan.
The festival hopes to attract young people and enhance friendship between the two countries. — VNS
