Halloween fest scares, entertains Hanoians

Local residents and international visitors in Hanoi had no shortage of ways to celebrate the haunted season in the capital city on October 30-31.

Halloween, originated from Western countries, has been strongly embraced by people in Vietnam, especially young people, in recent years.

In Halloween costumes, with devils and ghosts the most common, people created a scary and exciting atmosphere for Hanoians, especially teenagers and kids.

Make-up service was most favoured by youngsters though the price was quite expensive, ranging between VND20,000 and VND60,000.
