191065

Travel guide book Saigon Zoom In, designed by painter Nguyen Tri Phuong Dong and his young associates from Dai Viet Hoan Cau Company, has become the first Vietnamese book to win America Graphic Design 2014 award.

Saigon Zoom In (Saigon Can Canh), a Vietnamese/English bilingual guide book, was valued for its scientific and professional design as well as its useful information for travellers to Vietnam. It features maps, charts, images, hand-drawing pictures, icons, and layout in which readers can feel closer to the friendly environment of their destination.

The third edition of the book will be republished in the coming time.

American Graphic Design competition is open to everyone in the community including advertising agencies, graphic design firms, corporate, institutional and publishing inhouse departments, and more.

It honours outstanding new work of all kinds such as print, packaging, point-of-purchase, internet, interactive and motion graphics.

Winners will receive an embossed Certificate of Excellence for each piece selected and become eligible for reproduction in the 51st Anniversary GDUSA Awards Annual in print, on the web, and on iPad App ‒ seen by over 100,000 of its colleagues and clients each year.
