XO stands for xe om, a term for motorcycle taxi drivers.
The blue trousers the XO guides' wear are cut a little narrower than the traditional style to make it easier for them to drive. They take drivers to street food stalls designed to win over visiting tourists.
One commenter described the tour thusly: “Love like a local for a few hours”.
While tasty street food is held up as plus for many of the tourists, “the experience of being driven across Saigon, being entertained and informed by the ladies and looked after by the gentlemen was second to none,” one Australian wrote on the site.
