Many outdoor studios have opened in Hanoi as more and more people wish to take romantic photos.
Painting house for backdrop
Previously, the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, the Temple of Literature and the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long were the most popular destinations of photography lovers, but now they prefer places with more modern backdrops.
Romantic path
The Nhat Tan Flower Garden, Love Garden or Marry Me Long Bien studios are among the most favoured because of beautiful scenery and colourful decorations. Some of the new studios recently opened in the city include Hanoi View and Wonderland Garden.
Decorated pier
To meet customers' demand, many studio owners have built small wooden bridges, set up white fences, bicycles, cyclos and arranged different kinds of flowers. At the lotus lake near West Lake, the owners of a studio there also offer costume and make up services.
House decorated with flowers
Normal entry fees range from VND20,000-100,000 (USD1-5). If the couple wants to take wedding photos, the cost would be higher, at around VND300,000-400,000.
One customer said, "When we decided to take pictures for our wedding album, we were both busy so we could not go outside Hanoi. A photographer led us to places near Red River. I love the scene with windmill there."
